Stephanie Pierson’s advertising background is as a Copy Chief at top New York agencies. She has held senior positions at – among others – Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, Backer Spielvogel and Bates. Her expertise is in writing and supervising award-winning creative as well as brand building for clients as diverse as Estee Lauder and Clinique to Fisher-Price to Kraft to Johnson & Johnson to The New York TimesStephanie’s second career is publishing. Her focus is on lifestyle topics and contemporary issues. Her articles have appeared everywhere from The New York Times to The Atlantic Monthly to The Huffington Post. She has written and co-authored twelve books.  She was a contributing editor to Metropolitan Home Magazine and had a regular column in The Atlantic Monthly. She has appeared on Oprah, the Today Show, NPR. A career of writing about products and people has resulted in Stephanie’s gift for thinking strategically; bringing fresh insights to consumer behavior and brand behavior. She graduated from Connecticut College with a BA in History. After college, she studied copy and graphic design at SVA.
